RF Field Technician
Testing handset software and hardware in live networks in a mobile or stationary LTE, UMTS, CDMA and/or GSM environment Must be capable of domestic travel Perform field testing in designated test areas for various operators. Use logging tools to collect the data from the field to be analyzed by others Testing of devices and test based software / hardware testing Perform E2E scenarios for core device functionalities, testing may include objective functionality or subjective usability. QOS walks, benchmarking, data collection and reporting. Must be technically sound, detail oriented, have strong troubleshooting skills, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of GPS, E911 Cellular testing Mobile QA testing with some Cellular/Wi-Fi experience and fundamental knowledge of RF technology and RF test equipment. Must be experienced working with Data-Pro, Wireless-Pro, TEMS, Anritsu, PIM, Fiber Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, CW equipment, QOS test equipment, test phones and public safety handheld. IBwave certification is a plus. Must have knowledge with CW testing sufficient to lead a team and complete a test, based on criteria provided by the RF Engineer and quality of Service (QOS) data collection experience.
MUST be authorized to work in USA. • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. • Experience with RF Data Collection software and RF Data Post Processing software preferred. • Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and be willing to volunteer for new assignments and tasks as the needs of the department dictate. 
• Must be able to work independently, without much guidance and direction. • Knowledge of LTE wireless principals is preferred. • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical equivalent. • Experience in the wireless industry is preferred. • Proficient with Windows & Microsoft office. • Must be comfortable driving and traveling for extended periods in all weather conditions. • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. • Must pass a background check and pass a drug screening.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quick Base often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quick Base finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quick Base needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
