RF Engineer
Conduct and/or supervise collection and post processing of QoS and Benchmarking data and writing reports that will be the final delivery to the customer. They will design Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) based on site surveys, customer supplied floor plans and requirements, and specific scopes of work. They will be working with other departments through the process from preliminary to final design. The engineer will train associate engineers regarding the different telecom technologies such as UMTS and LTE along with other RF basics. There will be requirements to research new software, hardware and RF testing procedures in order to implement new industry techniques to remain current in the market place. The engineer will be responsible for coordination and communication with other departments and clients to achieve clients goals and complete projects.
MUST be authorized to work in USA. • IBwave (CAD based design software) DAS design experience and certification. • Experience and/or knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE technologies. • Knowledge of antenna theory and RF propagation principles. • Possess sound judgment to provide the proper design and optimization input. • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. • Perform link budget analysis. • Experience with various drive test units. • Validate antenna sweeps and perform model tuning. • Able to use mapping software (e.g., Heat maps, planning and design maps of RF networks). • Working knowledge of common office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to travel as project assignments demand. • Have well developed problem solving skills. • Qualities/Skills: Familiarity with the different DAS vendors (e.g. ADRF, CommScope, Solid,etc) preferred • Experience with Homer, Asset, Insite databases CAD experience. • Have some programming skills. •  Have a BS or MS degree in technical field. • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. • Must pass a background check and pass a drug screening.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quick Base often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quick Base finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quick Base needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
